Common Concrete Lifting Questions
You have weighed the pros and cons and think you may go with concrete lifting versus concrete replacement. That said, you still have questions about how it works and the other benefits of the concrete lifting process. Pro Lifting Solutions has answers for you! Our goal is to provide you with the answers to your questions so that you can be one hundred percent confident in your decision. So, let’s break down some of the most common questions.
How is Concrete Lifting Done?
One significant benefit of concrete lifting is that it is much more efficient than replacing your concrete slab. You can use your concrete slab after the project is complete in a very short period. Here is how the process works:
Small holes are drilled in pre-determined places in the slab as injection points for the polyurethane foam. The holes are strategically placed for maximum lift.
Using specialized injection equipment, the foam is injected through these access points, under the slab, spreading out to fill the gaps and voids, ultimately lifting the slab back into place.
Once the slab is lifted, the access points are filled, and the job site is cleaned up. The foam will be 100% cured within as little as 30 minutes.

How Long Does Leveling Concrete With Foam Last?
Polyurethane concrete leveling is a great investment as it can last the lifetime of your home. Because of its properties, foam will not retain moisture and will not erode when water is present. It also will not degrade due to extreme temperatures. Because it expands and fills the gaps and cracks, as well as lifts your slab you will have an even, strong, concrete slab for years to come.
What Type of Concrete Slabs Can You Repair?
There are so many ways to utilize polyurethane foam for concrete lifting. Around the exterior of your home, you can lift sidewalks, driveways, patios, pool decks, porches, and stairs. Garage floors and interior concrete slabs may also be repaired as well. In addition, foam lifting can be used to help commercial properties including parking lots.
